Frequently Asked Questions

What is the maximum size I can print?
We print standard sheets up to 4x8 feet, but special orders are available up to 8x10 feet.
What is the material (substrate) that you print on?
We provide three substrate options: e-panel™, unstretched canvas, and canvas board.
Do you 'bleed' the image off the edge?
No. We leave a 1/8th inch border around the edge of each print.
Can you print on canvas?
Yes, we can print on stretched or unstretched canvas as a special order. Just upload your file and then return to the home page and fill out the contact form for a quote.
Do you accept file types other than RIF format?
RIF files with impasto texture are the only files we're currently accepting via the upload page. Other file types can be submitted, rendered and printed via special order.
Do my RIF files need to have Impasto texture in them?
Yes. Without Impasto texture, the RIF files would need to be submitted via special order.
Why do I have to use Impasto brushes?
Impasto brushes capture actual depth of the brushtroke in the RIF file. When we render your image in 3D, we use this data to define the depth of each brushstroke. Without this data, we use a different process to render texture. This is a custom process and conversion fees apply. The 3D rendering is also approximated and may not match the artists brushstrokes exactly.
